Today we take a look at the genealogy of the Nike Zoom Rookie LWP. Based on three models that are considered to be Penny Hardaway’s pre-signature sneakers from his first two years in the NBA, the zoom rookie follows the historical lineage perfectly. We think Marc Dolce mastered the outcome of this silhouette that was introduced to us in 2010. The LWP weighs heavily on the influence of this sneaker as it is easy to tell. You can see the que’s of the Flight One with the pods being outstandish. There’s not many que’s of the Air Up although the resemblance is there. Pictured here are all original molds in the original Orlando colorway. There’s two things that could have made this post a tad bit better; the Air Up in the black and blue colorway instead of the white, black, and blue colorway and the condition of the LWP being a lot better. We are pretty sure that it will be difficult to see all of Penny’s pre-signature models in their original molds at one time.
